There’s Hope for the Hungry will be at South Summerville Baptist church on Wednesday November 15th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Must pick up in person.
The Chattooga Young Farmers will be holding a Holiday Wreath Class coming up on Tuesday, December 5th at 6 PM. The class will be held at the Chattooga County Ag Center on Middle School Drive in Summerville. There are limited spots available for the class and the cost is $40 per person and includes supplies. Bosom Buddies, a community-wide breast cancer support group, will meet on Monday, Nov. 20 from 6 to 7 pm in the boardroom at AdventHealth Redmond.
The Trion Lions Club will be having their annual fresh Georgia pecan sale. Halves and pieces are $12, Chocolate is $9 and Glazed are $8. The pecans are available at Trion Drugs, Economy Pharmacy in Summerville and Crossroads Pharmacy in Menlo.
For the sixth year, the Chattooga County Historical Society is offering their annual Christmas Ornament. The Christmas Ornaments, featuring historical places in the county, have been a big hit for Holiday shoppers and this year’s will be a great addition to the historical Chattooga County ornament selection.
Chattooga Family Connection will be hosting the 7th Annual Home for the Holidays free food distribution coming up later this month. The event will be held on Thursday, November 16th from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Community Resource Center of Chattooga County, located at 50 Eleanor Avenue in Summerville. The drive-thru event is open to anyone in Chattooga County in need of food for the holidays.
