There will be free groceries given away Thursday, January 12, at Central Avenue Baptist Church. There’s Hope for the Hungry will be giving away boxes of food from 10 am to 1 pm. The church is located at 14074 Hwy 27, Trion Georgia. No ID required.
The Chattooga Young Farmers will be holding their annual banquet on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the Chattooga County Ag Building in Summerville. The cost is $15 for an adult steak dinner and $7 for a children’s chicken tender dinner. The banquet will be held at 7 PM.
