The La Fayette Library has an upcoming free event and they are inviting patrons and friends in Chattooga County.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day will be celebrated this year on Monday, January 20, 2020. The national holiday is often marked as a “day of service” to the community and people are encouraged to remember the legacy of Dr. King by volunteering time for a local charitable cause.

The Friends of Sloppy Floyd have been busy decorating the park for the holiday season. Lights will be turned on every evening at 6:00 through the month of December. Be sure to take a ride through the park and enjoy the lights.

The Chattooga County Library Summerville Branch will be offering free classes for older adults who have concerns about falling and as a result, restrict their activities. “A Matter Of Balance” is an award-winning, eight-week program that emphasizes practical strategies designed to manage falls and increase activity levels.
