Open House will be 4:30-6:30. The Scholastic Book Fair will also be open!

Leroy Massey Elementary School will host their
Kindergarten – 2nd Grade Open House/Title I Meeting
Tuesday, August 27th Starting at 5:00 p.m
3rd – 5th Grade will be Thursday, August 29th 2019 starting at 5 pm.
We encourage our parents to please attend and learn about Title I. We will discuss what Title I provides and ways that parents can become more involved in their child’s education.
Refreshments will be served.
Menlo Elementary School will host their Family Literacy, Open House, Grandparents Night, Book fair, and Title I Annual Meeting on Monday, September 9th from 4:00 until 6:00. Title I Meeting will begin at 4:30. Refreshments will be served!
Lyerly Elementary School will host their Annual Title I Meeting and Open House, Thursday, September 5th from 3:30-5:30, Title I Meeting will begin at 4:00. Lyerly PTO will also have a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser.

The Menlo Elementary Pre-K Classroom currently has a few slots available for qualifying students. In order to attend children should be four-years old by September 1 and reside in Georgia. Pre-K is free and funded by the Georgia Lottery. For more information call 706-857-3490 or come by the Chattooga County Pre-K office located at 206 East Penn Street in Summerville.
If you are an aspiring artist, you might want to take part in the painting class that is coming up later this month and in September at Paradise Garden in Pennville.
The Chattooga County Chamber of Commerce says that economic development will be the theme for this month’s luncheon that will be held on Tuesday, August 20th at the Chattooga County Civic Center on Highway 48 in Summerville.
