MR. RAYMOND L. GILREATH, age 78, of Gore Community, Summerville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2015,  evening at his residence.  A Chattooga County native, He was a son of the late Oscar Gilreath and Edna Cagle Jones.  Mr. Gilreath was a truck driver for Mohawk, Ind. and a Veteran of the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by grandchildren Wyatt Gilreath and Wilder Gilreath.

        Surviving are wife-Betty Gilreath, sons-Charles Gilreath, Doug Gilreath, and Larry Gilreath; grandchildren-Mason Gilreath, Lloyd Gilreath, Dallas Gilreath, Carrie Gilreath, Sophie Gilreath, Hadlery Gilreath; great grandchildren-Brysley Gilreath and Coleman Gilreath.

        Funeral services will be held Friday, January 8, at 2:00 P.M. from the Central Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Brandon Bishop and Evangelist Lloyd Gilreath officiating, interment in New Hope South Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers Billy Evett, Jerry Ballenger, Charles Smith, Brian Chandler, Mike Jarrett, Jeffery Jarrett, Charles Jarrett and Grant Latta. Ms. Joan Erin Cook Obit (ER) revised

MRS. JOAN ERIN COOK, age 60, of Teloga Community, Summerville, Georgia passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 3, 2016.  A native of Tuscon, Arizona, She was born to the late Walter Haskell and Evelyn Rankin Haskell, who survives.  She, along with her late husband, enjoyed caring for and raising a variety of animals.  Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband, the late Wayne Cook on August 29, 2004.

        Surviving are Her mother, Evelyn Rankin Haskell; sister, Katherine Riney of Phoenix, AZ.

        Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9th, at 10:00 A.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home, with Rev. Ralph Sumner officiating, entombment in Greenhills Memory Garden.  Active Pallbearers Larry Cook, Dale Cook, Justin Cook, Terry Cook, Gene Smith, and Bade Eller.  Visitation will be Friday from 6 until 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

MS. ANITA M. MCCUTCHINS – Age 50, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Eula Mae McCutchins, brother, Al Ray McCutchins, and nephews, Isiah McCutchins and Trevor Montgomery.

MS. ANTONIA DELTORIA MACK – Age 53, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at her residence. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her father, Walter D. Mack, sister, Donzalle R. Palmer, and grandparents, Samuel R. and Janie Richardson.

She is survived by one son, Malachi Mack; mother, Janie E. Richardson Page of Summerville, Georgia; one sister, Angela (Terrance) Mitchell of Jacksonville, Florida; five brothers, Gary J. Mrs. Joy Henderson Obit (ER)

MRS. JOY HENDERSON, age 83, of Campbell Crescent Circle, Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016, in a Rome hospital.  Born in Fort Payne, Alabama on March 5, 1932, she was a daughter of the late C. Edward and Alline Maynard Holbrook.  Mrs. Henderson was a member of South Summerville Baptist Church and together with her husband owned and operated Eagle Mfg. and Cambridge House Furniture.

Surviving are her husband, Billy Henderson; daughter, Bonita Graham of Cleveland, TN., and granddaughter, Lauren Ashley Leming.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 5th, at 4:00 P.M. from Greenhills Memory Garden, with Pastor Stanley Smith officiating.

Retired from Best Manufacturing in Menlo, Georgia after 32 years of service.
Member of First Baptist Church in Summerville, Georgia and member of Seekers Sunday School Class.
Also attended the Chattooga Senior Center in Summerville, Georgia
Preceded in death by her parents, sisters Flossie Mae Wooten and Violet Arizona White; three brothers,  Charles Jack Ledford, Frank Ledford and Bobby Ledford.
Mrs. Chandler is survived by her husband of 38 years, Donald Minor Chandler;  three children, Susan & Randy Thompson of Canton, Georgia, Laura (Sally)  & Jeff Gamble of Armuchee, Georgia and Gary & Kathy Floyd of Cartersville, Georgia.
She is also survived by five grandchildren: Melissa Thompson Riddle, Meredith Thompson Carter, Jarrod Slaton Floyd, Jamie Kristin Woodward Brown and Anna Elaine Floyd.
Ten Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Monday, January 4, 2016 from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm at Earle Rainwater Funeral Home in Summerville.  The funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 5th, at 2:00 pm from the J.D. Hill Chapel of the Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Doyle Waters officiating.   Internment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Garden in Summerville.
Active pallbearers will be Jarrod Floyd, Jonathan Carter, David Riddle, Coleman Ledford, Jack Ledford and Randy Ledford.

MR. MARTIN RANDALL (RANDY) MEADOWS, age 46, of West Springcreek Road, Trion, Georgia passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 30, 2015.  A native Chattooga Countian, He was born to the late Carthell Meadows and Linda Wesson Meadows, who survives.  Randy was a brick mason by trade, and had firefighter and haze mat training; He also was a natural/self taught musician.  In addition to His Father, he was preceded in death by a brother the late Robin Meadows, grandmother, the late Jackie (Meme) Wesson Stephens and numerous other family members.

        Surviving are His mother, Linda Meadows; daughter, Angel Meadows; sister, Renee Ware; brother, Davin Meadows; granddaughter, Sophia Grace Keen; girl friend, Melissa Wright; special friend, Billy Brown; aunts, Frances Ledford, Hazel Millican, & Rosemary Johnson; uncle, Charles M. Mr. John Alvin Kimbrough Obit (M)

Mr. John Alvin Kimbrough, age 71, of Lyerly, GA, passed away Friday January 1, 2016, in Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation. 

Mr. Kimbrough was born August 12, 1944, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of Bill and Marie Altman Kimbrough.  He was a truck driver, and was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Destiny Kimbrough. 

Survivors include his wife, Canada Faye Kimbrough, daughter & son-in-law, Betty & Joe Havens, sons & daughters-in-law, Johnny & Janet Kimbrough, James Brian & Patricia Kimbrough, Jason & Missy Kimbrough, Paul and Jennifer Kimbrough, brother, Jerry Kimbrough, sisters, Betty Walker, Clara Mae Carroll, Mary Beebee, 10 Grandchildren, 2 Great-grandchildren. 

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday January 4, 2016, from Mason Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Johnson Cemetery.   Rev. Charles Wayne Holcombe will officiate.
