Mrs. Faye Nell Bandy, age 83, of Trion, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Bandy was born in Trion, Georgia on June 5, 1932, daughter of the late Horace J. Searels and Erveen Broome Searels. She was a member of the Trion Church of Christ, and prior to retirement she along with her husband, Frank H. Bandy, owned and operated the FranFa Dairy Farm in Trion. Upon retirement from the Dairy Farm, the two of them took up over the road truck driving for approximately 8 years. Following her retirement from trucking, she once again entered the workforce, working in the Shoe Department of the Old Summerville Wal-mart, and later becoming a door greeter at the New Trion Wal-mart. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bandy was preceded in death by her husband, Frank H. Bandy, and a brother, Wayne Searels.
Mrs. Bandy is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, LaDon and Sherry Bandy, Dennis and Karen Bandy, and Bill and Cheryl Bandy; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Bandy will be held Friday, August 14, 2015 at 12:00 Noon in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Minister Hugh Glaze officiating. Interment will follow in the Wilbanks-Bandy Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ben Groce, Jimi Rowe, Kirk Patterson, Ben Bandy, Jeff Mitchell and Owen Suits. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Williams and Matt Hall.
Mrs. Bandy will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.

MRS. MARY LOUISE FOWLER WILLIAMS, age 89, of LaFayette, Georgia, formerly of Subligna Community, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015, in the local nursing home. She was born on August 2, 1926 to the late Carl Marion Flower, Sr. and Ester Rebecca Lenderman Fowler, in Bessemer, Alabama. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Subligna Road Church of Christ, a seamstress, and was retired from the sewing department of Best Mfg. Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Loyd C. Williams, and siblings, the late Pauline Ball, Marie Plunkett, and Henry Fowler.
Surviving are daughters & spouses, Pat & Larry Scoggins, Linda Sue Hogue, Barbara & Benny Price, Roxie Lynn & William D. Alexander, and Carolyn & Dale Tucker; brother, Carl Marion Flower, Jr.; many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 15th, at 11:00 A.M. from the Subligna Road Church of Christ with Minister Tommy O’Kelley officiating, interment in Subligna Cemetery. Active Pallbearers, Tony Scoggins, Brent Davis, Bengi Price, Brian Alexander, David Woosley, Mike Oldham, and Brian Baggett. The Family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Earle Rainwater Funeral Home; Mrs. Williams will also be in state at the Church, Saturday, from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Mr. Bobby Lee Johnson from Rome, Ga., was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 3, 2015, at Redmond Medical Center. He was born March 24, 1949, son of Elder Mason Johnson and Claudia Mae Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving devoted wife of 30 years Iris Johnson; sons Christopher and Christian Johnson; daughters, Cecilia and Christina Johnson; a host of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Second Baptist Church, 65 Church Street, Summerville, Ga., with Bishop Bobby Greer officiating. Interment will follow in Summerville Cemetery.

MRS. TRESSIE HENDERSON KNIGHT, age 85, of Fayetteville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2015, in an Atlanta hospital. A native of Cherokee County, Alabama, She was born to the late Luther T. and Pauline Berry Henderson on April 4, 1930. Mrs. Knight lived in Trion for a number of years and was a self employed seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Charles William (Bill) Knight, and siblings, the late Blanche Battles, Everene Croy, Mardine Turner, Wallace Henderson, Berry Henderson, and Hugh Henderson.
Surviving are daughter, Laura Knight of Fayetteville; sons, Kenneth Knight of Fayetteville and Scott Knight of Ft. Collins, Col.; Six Grandchildren, one Great Grandson, several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 8th, at 12:00 noon, from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Pastor Casey Bramlett officiating, interment in West Hill Cemetery. The Family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the Funeral Home.
