MRS. DOROTHY JEANNIE SIFFLES, age 58, of Back Berryton Road, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015, evening, in a Rome hospital. She was born on December 17, 1956, in Trion, Georgia, a daughter of the late Robert “Monk” and Dorothy Faye Hill Mann. Mrs. Siffles was Holiness by Faith, retired assembly crew leader for Wire Tech, ITD; She was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, and was preceded in death by a granddaughter, the late Savannah Siffles.
Surviving are Her husband, Hollis Siffles; sons and spouses, Lamar & Patricia Siffles, Jr., Roger, Sr. & Amanda Siffles; grandchildren, Cody & Stephanie Siffles, Ryan & Shelby Siffles, Brandon Siffles, Roger Siffles, Jr., Isaiah Siffles, Emily Siffles, and Caitlin Siffles; sister, Shirley Shepherd; brothers and spouse, Billy Mann, James & Beverly Mann; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Mr. William Ronald “Smitty” Smith, age 72 of Menlo, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Shepherd Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Smith was born in Summerville, Georgia on March 28, 1942, son of the late Charles William Smith and Velma Lucille Mann Smith. He was a member of the Chesterfield Baptist Church, and prior to retirement, was employed with Chattooga County as a Mechanic and later he owned his own Mobile Home Moving Service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Colleen Hix Smith, a brother, Danny Eugene Smith and a sister, Susie Ballenger.
Mr. Smith is survived by his children, William Randall and Cassie Smith and Chelsea Elizabeth and David Jeremy Simpson; brothers, Bobby Smith and Walter Smith; sisters, Ruth Barrett, Mary Schrader and Mamie Abernathy; 2 grandchildren, Aubrey Diane Simpson and Jaydon Alexis Smith, and a number of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Nieces and Nephews.

Mrs. Eula Mae Black, 96, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at her home.
She was born on November 6, 1918 in Alabama, but has been a resident of North Georgia for nearly 75 years. Mrs. Black was a member of Peavine Baptist Church where she was recognized in 2010 for more than 66 years of “Faithfully Teaching God’s Word, Outstanding Service, and Commitment to Excellence.” Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Black was a bookkeeper for Newton Chevrolet, Tucker Chevrolet, and North Georgia Mental Health Association. Mrs. Black is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Colquitt C. Black, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Dr. Colquitt (Linda) Black III, of Summerville, GA, Catherine (Sammy) Robertson, Ringgold, Elizabeth (Ricky) Smith, Makanda, IL, and Dr. Stanley (Janice) Black, Ringgold; grandchildren, Becky Robertson, Roger Robertson, Candi Irvin, Jennifer Richardson, John Black, Laura Cochran, and Nathan Smith; 17 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and special niece Patricia Ward, Chickamauga.

Mr. Horace Junior McWhorter, age 86 of Trion, GA passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Oakview Nursing & Rehab. Mr. McWhorter was born September 7, 1928 in Trion, GA. He was retired from the Weaving Department of Riegel Textile Corporation. Mr. McWhorter loved to fish.

Mrs. Sirt was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Sirt. She was an dog lover and was retired from Mount Vernon Mills as a Weaver.

Mr. Robert Franklin Stewart, III age 71 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Life Care Center in Red Bank, TN.
Mr. Stewart was born in Summerville, Georgia on May 31, 1943, son of the late Robert “Bud” Steward, Jr. and Mary Evelyn Dalton Stewart Mitchell. He was a member of the North Summerville Baptist Church and prior to retirement was self employed as a brick mason and was a gardener, winning many awards for his prized roses. Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Morgan Stewart on September 25, 2004.
Mr. Stewart is survived by his daughters, Dena DOIG and Donna SANTIFORT of North Carolina; step children, Kim Bryson of Lafayette, Elizabeth Faye of Illinios, Kenneth Brownlee of Summerville and Howard McMillin, Jr of Illinois.; brothers, Donald and David Stewart of Rome; sisters, Shirley Ducker of Signal Mountain, Rita Tindall of Coldwater Mississippi, and Sheryl Treadway of Rome, GA; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
