MR. RAYMOND W. COOPER, age 89, of Jenkins Gap Road, Summerville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015, in a LaFayette Health Care. Native to Jackson County, Alabama, He was born to the late George A. and Ethel Goff Cooper on December 21, 1925. Mr. Cooper was a retired farmer and logger, and a member of the Silver Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife the late Gladys Louise Crabtree Cooper, a son, the late Jerry Cooper, and a granddaughter, the late Mary Burrage.
Surviving are daughters and son-in-law, Faye Cooper and Shirley and Michael Herring; sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Essie Cooper, William Cooper, Clayton Cooper, Sherman and Barbara Cooper; bother-James Reece Cooper; seven Grandchildren, twelve Great Grandchildren, three Great Great Grandchildren, also with several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 11th, at 11:00 A.M. from the J.D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Wayne Cooper officiating, interment in Silver Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Grandchildren. The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Friday evening from 6 until 8 P.M.

Mrs. Thelma McKenzie Jones, age 86, of Trion, GA passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at a Rome Hospital.
Mrs. Jones was born in Trion, Georgia on March 2, 1929, daughter of the late Taylor McKenzie and Mary Swallwood McKenzie. She was a member of the Trion Heights Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Jones was a caring mother, sister, daughter and grandmother, and enjoyed looking after her family, especially her dog Suzie. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jones, and her brothers, Conley McKenzie, Lee Gene McKenzie, Carl McKenzie and Marion McKenzie.
Mrs. Jones is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mitzi and Steve Payton; sons, Jay McKenzie Jones and his companion, Pam Glenn and William Scott Jones; grandchildren, Nicole Jones, Anna Ball, Haley Payton, Hannah Payton, Kevin Glenn and Eric Glenn; grandchildren, Olivia Glenn, Shiloh Glenn, Cassidy Glenn, Dawson Glenn, Zeke Ball and Ellie Ball; special niece, Vicki McCorsley; neighbors, Margaret and Larry Langston; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside and Interment services will held Friday, April 10, 2015 at 2:30 P.M. in the West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Eric Glenn, Kevin Glenn, Charles Wade, Robbie Hamby, Quinton Watson, and Brandon Ball.
Mrs. Jones will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00.

Mrs. Mary Leann Patrick, age 61, of Summerville, GA, died Monday, April 6, 2015, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Patrick was born May 21, 1953, in Fayetteville, GA, daughter of Juanita May Foster and the late James Olin Hammond, Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Wayne Patrick; and a brother, James Olin Hammond, Jr.
Mrs. Patrick is survived by her husband, Gregory Patrick; mother, Juanita May Foster; and step-brother, Adam Foster.
Funeral services for Mrs. Patrick will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 8, 2015, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Coward and Rev. Donnie Carver officiating. Interment will follow in the Summerville Cemetery.
Mrs. Patrick will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Wednesday.

Mr. Charles Walter Lively, age 80, of Trion, GA, passed away Saturday April 4, 2015, at his residence.
Mr. Lively was born September 23, 1934, in Trion, GA, the son of the late George Cavin and Minnie Emory Lively. He was retired from the Spinning Department of Mt Vernon Mills.
Survivors include his sister, Mrs. Oneal Mills, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside and interment service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday April 7, 2015 from the family plot in the Trion Cemetery, with Rev. Chip Smith officiating.

Mrs. Dorothy Lee Mann, age 71 of Mtn. View Road, Trion, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Mann was born January 11, 1944, daughter of the late Leroy Reynolds and Rena Lucille MacNellie Reynolds. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mann was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Mann, Sr., and a brother, Leroy “Buddy” Reynolds.
Mrs. Mann is survived by her sons, Wilson Mann, Jr. and Ronald Mann; daughters, Dorothy Weaver, Geneva Burrage, Beverly James and Annette Terry Elrod; brothers, Johnny Reynolds and David Reynolds; sisters, Helen Wade and Euvonne Bice; 21 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside and Interment Services for Mrs. Mann will be held Friday, April 3, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Kevin J. Norton officiating.

Miss Mary Elizabeth Crowe, age 77, of Gaylesville, AL died Wednesday, April 01, 2015
at her residence.
Miss Crowe was born July 22, 1937 in Cherokee County, AL, New Moon Community,
the daughter of the late George Orr Crowe and Myrtle McCullough Crowe. She was retired from Best Manufacturing. Miss Crowe was a member of Mt. Zion Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, George Crowe, JR; and a niece, Tina Crowe Gazaway.
Miss Crowe is survived by a brother, William Frank “Bill” Crowe; and several
nieces, nephew, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p. m. Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Mason
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Roach officiating. Burial will follow in
Mt. Zion Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Ralph Crowe, Georgie Crowe,
Coleman Thompson, and Marty Crowe. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny
Todd, Gene Todd, JR Hughes, Donald Joe Hughes, Chris Roach, Melissa Keith,
Heather Hamilton; and employees of ABC Hospice.
Miss Crowe will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive
friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p. m. on Thursday. In lieu of flowers the family
respectfully request memorials be made to the Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund.
