Mr. Frank Leon Langston age 73 of Cedar Bluff passed away on Monday at Emory Medical Center….Mr. Langston was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Willie B and Fay Cavin Langston and preceded in death by a sister Vera Sue Langston..He was a retired truck driver and a Baptist by faith…survivors include his wife Anne Renfroe Rogers Langston, Daughters Melody and Steve Whaley of Summerville, Sherry and Gene Dollar of Toccoa, and Amber Rogers of Cedar Bluff, Sons, Bobby and Janet Langston of Rome, Frank and Vicky Langston of Ohatchee, Jeff Langston of Ohatchee, Joey and Connie Hanner of Alexandria , and Jason Rogers of Rome, Brothers Loy and Becky Langston of Mentone, Sisters Francis Day of Section, Ella Voils of Mentone, Josey Noles of Ft. Payne, Myrtle and Wally Meeks of LaFayette, Christine and Mack Scott of Ft. Payne and Renae Langston of Mentone, 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren survive…Funeral service will be at 3Pm Friday at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mrs. Willie June Stowe Rider, age 91 of 79 Marsh Avenue, Trion, GA passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Rider was born June 21, 1920 in Trion, GA. She was a housewife and a member of the Trion First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Rider was preceded in death by her husband, Henry H. Rider; father and mother, Charlies and Octavia Elsberry Stowe; her sons, Jerry Rider, Jackie Rider, Jimmy "Bo" Rider, and Joey Rider.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Bartlett of Trion, GA; serveral grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
A private family graveside service will be held in West Hill Cemetery with Dr. Floyd Roebuck officiating.

Mr. William Hoyt White, age 72, of Summerville, GA passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mr. White was born August 18, 1938 in Summerville, GA, son of the late William and Jean Luttrell White. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a fixer with Greenwood Cotton Mill. Mr. White was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Ann “Becky” Cody White; a sister, Ann Luttrell Hardy; and a brother, Bill Luttrell.
Mr. White is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Ken Staton; son, Jeff White; sister, Betty Jean Luttrell; 5 Grandchildren; 3 Great- Grandchildren; and girlfriend, Lois Reed.
Funeral Services for Mr. White will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 in the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Summerville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scott Brown, Glen Reed, Michael Dooley, Michael Wright, Terrell Perry, and David Chittom. Honorary Pallbearers will be the staff of At Peace Hospice.

Mrs. Cora Mae Cavin, age 78, of Gaylesville, AL, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 at her residence.
Mrs. Cavin was born September 28, 1932 in Cherokee County, AL, daughter of the late Lewis Millard and Gladys Miller Bridges. She was of the Baptist faith and was a life-long resident of the Chesterfield Community. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Cavin had been employed with Harriett and Henderson and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Cavin.
Mrs. Cavin is survived by her daughter, Melody Pettyjohn; brother, Leo Bridges; sister, Glenda Hudson; and grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, and Ashley Pettyjohn.

MR. C. D. “TINY” LONG, JR., age 67, of Hammond Drive-Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011. Born in Cartersville, Georgia on November 16, 1943, He was the son of the late Charles Daniel Long Sr. and Frances Louise Howell Long. Mr. Long was a member of Harrell Street Church of God of Union Assembly. A Minister of the Gospel, He had taught heating/air conditioning and electrical at Northwestern Technical College, and was a member of Trion Lodge #160 F & AM. He was preceded in death by a son, the late Glenn Hester.
Surviving are wife-Judy Long; daughters-Gevetta Samples, Melissa Hamilton, and Retta Howard all of Summerville; sons-Danny Hester of Trion, Charles Daniel Long, III and LeBron Long both of Summerville; Grandchildren-Jodi, Charletta, D.J., Tanner, Morgan, Aaron, Sam, Natalie, Donovan, Hannah, Alyssa.
