The schedule begins with Donna Sausville presenting a Make and Take Air Dry Clay Flower Frog demonstration at 5:30 p.m. Participants will create a flower frog, which is designed to hold flower stems upright and in place.

The weekend lineup will continue at 2:30 p.m. with Katie Bandy Carlson of Sunset Creek Farms, who will demonstrate her method for creating a DIY low-toxin laundry detergent. Carlson makes the detergent for use on her homestead and also sells it at her farm stand locations.

Another demonstration will feature Melanie Morris presenting MacGyver Meals — Batch Cooking, Pantry Staples and Leftovers at 2:30 p.m. The interactive program will invite audience members to brainstorm creative ways to turn leftovers, pantry staples and batch-cooked foods into flexible meal options. Attendees will also be entered into a raffle for prizes designed to encourage freezer-meal creativity.
