With spring officially underway, the Chattooga County FFA has announced details for its annual Spring Plant Sale, offering a wide variety of plants while supporting local students.

The sale will take place on April 2 and 3, as well as April 14, 15, and 16, with hours each day from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Chattooga High School greenhouse located behind the school.

Organizers say shoppers can expect a large selection of plants, including tomatoes, herbs, flowers, hanging baskets, ferns, and more. Popular items such as geraniums, petunias, coleus, and vegetable plants will be available, along with specialty items like eucalyptus and citronella.

Prices vary depending on the type of plant, with many affordable options available for home gardeners and landscaping projects.

All proceeds from the plant sale will go directly toward supporting Chattooga County FFA students and their activities, helping fund educational programs, competitions, and future agricultural opportunities.

Community members are encouraged to come out, support local students, and get a head start on spring planting.
