Organizers are preparing for the annual Back to School Bash for Trion and Chattooga students, and community support is being sought to help local families get ready for the new school year.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM. Plans include music, free back-to-school haircuts, shaved ice treats, community resources, and school-year support for students.

School supply donations, monetary donations, and community partners or vendors are currently being accepted. An Amazon wish list has also been shared to give the community ideas about needed supplies. Donations do not have to be purchased through Amazon.
