Labor Day Gospel Fest Coming Up Monday In Cloudland

The Cloudland Volunteer Fire Department is getting ready for its Labor Day Gospel Fest, coming up Monday at Cloudland Community Park.

The event will run from 10 AM until 2 PM Eastern Time, with no admission charge.

There will be open-mic gospel music, and sound equipment will be provided. Anyone who would like to participate is encouraged to bring an instrument and join in.

The Cloudland Volunteer Fire Department will also be serving barbecue plates for $10, including a drink.

Again, the Labor Day Gospel Fest is Monday from 10 AM until 2 PM at Cloudland Community Park, sponsored by the Cloudland Volunteer Fire Department.

The Cloudland Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a Labor Day Gospel Fest this Monday, September 7, at Cloudland Community Park.

The event will be held from 10 AM until 2 PM Eastern Time and there is no admission charge.

The Gospel Fest will feature open-mic gospel music, and sound equipment will be provided. Musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments and join in during the event.

The Cloudland Volunteer Fire Department will also be selling barbecue plates for $10, which includes a drink.

The Labor Day Gospel Fest offers residents an opportunity to enjoy gospel music, food and fellowship while supporting the Cloudland Volunteer Fire Department.

Again, the event is Monday from 10 AM until 2 PM at Cloudland Community Park, with no admission fee.

Teloga Volunteer Fire Department Reminds Residents 2026 Membership Dues Are Due

The Teloga Volunteer Fire Department is reminding residents that 2026 membership dues are now due and encouraging community members to continue supporting the department’s mission of protecting the Teloga community.

Current members can conveniently pay their dues by placing their payment in the drop box located at the fire department or by stopping by the station on Monday nights after 6 p.m. to meet the firefighters and pay in person.

Residents who are not yet members are encouraged to join. The cost is $150 for the first year, with annual renewals of $50 each year after that.

Volunteer fire departments rely on community support to help provide emergency fire protection and other emergency services. Department officials say every membership helps keep the Teloga community safe.

Teloga Fire Department to Conduct Fire Hydrant Testing This Evening

Residents in the Teloga area are being advised of possible temporary low water pressure this evening as the Teloga Volunteer Fire Department conducts scheduled fire hydrant testing.

Testing is planned for this evening (Monday, April 20, 2026) from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Officials say water customers may notice a drop in pressure during that time, but normal service is expected to resume by 8:00 p.m.

The testing is part of routine efforts to help ensure fire hydrants are working properly and ready when needed.

Residents are asked for their patience and understanding during the testing period.
