December 2024: 

Andy Allen is sworn in as the Sole Commissioner of Chattooga County.  Allen defeated incumbent Commissioner Blake Elsberry with over 60% of the vote in the GOP Primary in May and for the first time in over 150 years – there was no Democrat on the ballot in November.  (See story HERE )
