Families in Chattooga County will have a fun, kid-friendly way to ring in the New Year early as the Trion Public Library hosts a “Noon Year’s Eve Party” on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
The event will be held at the Trion Public Library, located at 15 Bulldog Blvd. in Trion, and is being presented by the Sara Hightower Regional Library System. Organizers say the celebration is designed especially for young children and families, offering a New Year’s-style party at a time that works better for little ones.
According to the event listing, children will dance and sing as part of the program, and the party will wrap up with a “cow drop” — the library’s playful take on the traditional ball drop. After the countdown activity, families can enjoy crafts and additional games.
For more information, the public is asked to contact the Trion Public Library at 706-734-7594.
