Miss Wanda Teresa Sentell, age 69, of Trion, GA, died Friday, July 19, 2024, at her sister’s residence.

Miss Sentell was born November 28, 1954, in Summerville, GA, daughter of the late John Lewis “J.L.” Sentell and Eunice Lloyd Reece Sentell.
She was a member of Chesterfield Baptist Church where she was always the first person to step into the choir. She also loved Elvis Presley and Andy Griffith.

In addition to her parents, Miss Sentell was preceded in death by brothers, Gary Sentell, infant brother, Ronald Sentell; grandparents, John and Bertie Sentell, Pless and Ollie Bell Reece.

Survivors include her sisters, Janice Staton, Mavis (Larry) Tucker; nieces and nephews, Melissa Witt, Jennifer Owen, John Sentell, Melanie Ward, Aleisha Wilson, Lori Boutwell, and Richie Brown; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services for Miss Sentell will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating. Active pallbearers will be nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Chesterfield Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Miss Sentell will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Wednesday.
