A Summerville man was arrested over the weekend for driving on suspended or revoked license after a Summerville Police Officer notified a Chattooga County Sheriff’s Deputy that the man was headed home after making a purchase at George’s Quik Shop off Highland Avenue.
A Rome man was arrested after police say he was dancing on the balcony at the Fair Bridge Inn on Martha Berry Boulevard. The man wasn’t arrested for dancing before daylight, but he was arrested for dancing naked. Rome Police responded around 5 AM to the scene after the report that a naked man was dancing at the motel without any clothes on. Fifty-two-year-old Patrick Clark McCluney was arrested and charged with public indecency.
The Chattooga County Republican Party will meet Thursday September 1st at 6 pm at the Senior Center in Summerville. Expected guests include Jackson Perkins with Herschel Walker for US Senate campaign along with others. The public is invited to attend.
