On Tuesday, July 26, 2022 Logan Christopher Gordy entered a negotiated guilty plea to one count of Homicide by Vehicle and two counts of Serious Injury by Vehicle. Gordy was sentenced to 10 years on probation, with 8 months to be served in the county jail.
Summerville Police were called to a Bittings Avenue duplex on Monday of this week to speak with a complainant who said that her renter – who lives in the neighboring duplex – has a twelve-year-old son that has been destroying her property.

Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson says that his office is looking for tips concerning the shooting death of a Rossville man on Monday of this week. Sheriff Wilson says that witnesses say that a red Chevrolet or GMC pickup truck and a Dodge Charger or Challenger pulled up into a man’s driveway on Peachtree Street. A short time later, witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing a young black male enter one of the vehicles before speeding away. Twenty-nine-year-old Dakota Ryan Bradshaw as shot and killed standing at a window inside his home. Bradshaw was transported to an area hospital where he passed away. The body has been sent to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy. Sheriff Wilson says that the Rossville Police Department, Chattanooga Police Department and the GBI are assisting with the investigation.
