Summerville Man Reports Disappearance of Cell Phone at Walmart

A Summerville man recently reported the disappearance of his son’s cell phone while at the Highway 27 Walmart.

The man said his son was in the sporting goods aisle near the baseball bats, and while there laid his phone down.  A short time later his son realized he didn’t have his phone, and they went back to sporting goods, but were unable to find it.

The complainant said they finally located the phone case near the toy aisle – but the phone itself was gone. The phone is described as a gunmetal in color Galaxy S6 with a leather back valued at some $500.

The incident remains under investigation.
