Georgia gas prices decreased at the pump compared to a week ago. Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $3.14 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. Monday’s state average was 4 cents less than a week ago, 12 cents less than last month and $1.14 more than this time last year.

High-Rise Resident Reports Theft

Summerville Police responded to a call about a theft at the Summerville High Rise apartments over the weekend.  According to a report, the seventy-one-year-old complainant said that she allowed someone to sleep on her couch overnight.  When she got up the next morning, there was $36 in cash missing from a pocketbook that was on the back of the couch.  The incident was turned over to an investigator.
