As we head towards Christmas this coming Sunday, Northwest Georgia will be experiencing some of the coldest temperatures we have seen in quite some time. A Cedartown couple are facing drug charges in Chattooga County after being found in possession of illegal narcotics on December 9th. Thirty-five-year-old Landon Cooper Weaver and thirty-three-year-old Brittany Leanne Weaver were arrested after several bags of suspected methamphetamine were found in their possession. Also, Landon Weaver is being charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, after officers found a .40 caliber handgun in his possession. Because drugs were found in his possession, Landon Weaver is also being charged with possession of a firearm in commission of a crime.
