South Summerville Baptist Church will be hosting There’s Hope for the Hungry Wednesday, March 18th from 10am until 1pm. No ID is required, but you must pick your food up in person.

Hope for the Hungry at Central Avenue Baptist Church

There’s Hope for the Hungry will be at the Central Avenue Baptist Church in Trion this week on Thursday, March 12, to give away free groceries. Come between the hours of 10:00 am and 1:00 pm to get your free groceries. No ID is required. But, you must be present to receive the food.
The free Clothes Closet will also be available from 10:00 until 12:30. They are located at 14074 Highway 27 in Trion behind Dixie Subs.

Summerville Pentecostal Worship Center- Easter Event

Summerville Pentecostal Worship Center is inviting families to a Kids Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 12 noon. The event will begin with lunch in the fellowship hall, followed by an Easter egg hunt for children.

The church is located at 116 Lake Wanda Reita Road in Summerville. Organizers are asking each family to bring one dozen filled eggs per child to help make the event special for everyone attending.

Church leaders say the afternoon is designed to be a time of food, fun, and fellowship for the community as families gather to celebrate the Easter season.

Revival At Spring Creek Baptist Church

Spring Creek Baptist Church will host a weeklong revival beginning Saturday, March 15, inviting the community to attend several nights of preaching and worship.

The revival will begin Saturday, March 15 at 6 p.m., with services continuing March 16 through March 20 at 7 p.m. each evening at the church, located at 2629 Spring Creek Road in Trion.

Guest preachers scheduled for the revival include Johnny Dotson on Sunday, March 15; Mica Gillespie on Monday, March 16; Justin Ward on Tuesday, March 17; Nathan Poteet on Wednesday, March 18; John Vanpelt on Thursday, March 19; and Bradley Clayton on Friday, March 20.

 

Everyone is invited to attend the six nights of services.

Easter Play At Spring Creek Baptist Church

Spring Creek Baptist Church is inviting the community to attend its upcoming Easter play titled “King of Hearts.”

The presentation will take place Sunday, March 29 at 6 p.m. at the church, located at 2629 Spring Creek Road in Trion.

The Easter play will celebrate the message of the season and is open to the public.

Lyerly Pentecostal Tabernacle- singing

Lyerly Pentecostal Tabernacle, 38 Spraggins Hill Rd Lyerly, will have a singing, Saturday March 14th at 6:00pm.  Featured singers will be Joyful Sound from Piedmont, Alabama.  Everyone is welcome.  Come and be blessed!

Pentecostal Power Ministries Hosting Men’s Meeting in Lyerly

Men from across the area are invited to attend a special Men’s Meeting hosted by Pentecostal Power Ministries this Saturday.

The gathering will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Hayes Fellowship Hall, located at 87 North Chattooga Avenue in Lyerly, Georgia.

Featured speaker for the event will be Robert Cantrell, also known as “Brother Tic Tac.” Organizers say the meeting will focus on fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual growth for men in the community.
