There will be a Labor Day Gospel Fest on Monday September 4th from 10am until 2pm Eastern time at the Cloudland Community Park. The event is sponsored by the Cloudland Volunteer Fire Department. BBQ plates will be on sale for $10 which includes a drink. There will not be any admission fee. There will be an open mic for gospel music and sound equipment will be provided. Everyone is welcomed to attend!
Once again this year, the Chattooga County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee is hosting the demonstration kitchen at the Chattooga County Agricultural Fair. You can see the complete schedule for the demonstration kitchen below:
From Chattooga High School Athletic Department: It is time for CHS football season, and our 1st home football game is September 8th, beginning at 7:30 vs Cohulla Creek High School. Tickets are $8. Tickets may be purchased ahead of time on GoFan.com or can be purchased with cash at the front office of CHS. No money boxes will be available at the gates! There’s Hope For The Hungry will be at South Summerville Baptist Church Wednesday August 16th from 10 AM until 1 PM. No ID is required and anyone in need of food is welcome.
