


The Chattooga County Garden Club is sponsoring a Basic Design Workshop Series at Paradise Gardens from July through September on select dates. It is open to anyone interested in arranging flowers for your home, church or event. Emphasis will be placed on flowers from your yard and “grocery store” bouquets. Each class will be taught by a different instructor certified by Garden Club of Georgia. Classes will begin at 10am and provide two to three hours of practice to complete designs to take home.

Tuesday 7/18 – Line and Line Mass Designs
Thursday 7/27 – Mass & Foilage Mass Designs
Tuesday 8/8 – Table Designs
Thursday 8/17 – Wreaths & Door Designs
Thursday 9/14 – Petite & Creative Designs

The Chattooga Young Farmers will be holding their July meeting on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the Chattooga County Ag Center. The meeting will feature a Low Country Boil and gets underway at 7 PM. Young Farmers will hear an update from Director Lauren Jarrett and a Washington Leadership Conference update from Joshua Willingham. The City of Summerville proudly presents the 2023 Celebrate Independence Festival & Fireworks Show. This free community event will be held at the Chattooga County Agricultural Center on Friday, June 30. The festival and fireworks show has been a long time family affair and one of the best fireworks shows in northwest Georgia!
