Spots Still Open For Holiday Wreath Class

Chattooga Young Farmer Director Lauren Jarrett says that there are still a few spots open for the Young Farmer’s Holiday Wreath Class that will be held on Tuesday, December 6th at 6 PM at the Chattooga County Ag Center.  The class includes all supplies and a light supper.  If you are interested, contact Lauren Jarrett at ljarrett@chattooga.k12.ga.us

Polar Express Coming To Chattooga Library

The Chattooga County Library in Summerville will be having a movie night on Friday, November 18th and will be showing the movie “Polar Express”.  Children can come in their pajamas and bring a blanket and pillow to watch the movie. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served before the movie. The library is located at 360 Farrar Drive in Summerville.

Center Post Community Free Music Night

Center Post Community Center located at 8125 HWY 337 LaFayette, GA will be having a free music night Saturday November 19th, 2022 from 6 pm- 8 pm. Blackberry Winter Bluegrass Band and Philip Wells and The Just One Band will be performing on stage. Concessions will be available for purchase. Everyone is invited to attend.

Trion Band Boosters Fill Your Freezer Fundraiser

The Trion Band Boosters are still selling tickets for their “Fill Your Freezer Fundraiser”.  The drawing for the fundraiser will be next Thursday the 17th.  2 winners will be drawn and each will receive one half of a cow processed which has an estimated value of $2,000 for each winner.  See any band member or contact Booster President Nathan Thompson on Facebook, or the band Facebook page @Pride of Trion Marching Band. They will be selling tickets at the game tonight and will sell until Wednesday the 16th or until all tickets are sold.

CHS Cheerleading McDonald’s Spirit Night

Chattooga High School cheerleaders are inviting everyone out to your Summerville McDonald’s on Monday, November 14th from 5PM-7PM for Chattooga High School Cheerleading Spirit Night.  Come by and enjoy your favorite McDonald’s food and support the Chattooga High School Cheerleaders.  A portion of all the proceeds will be donated to the Chattooga High School Cheerleading Program.
