Historical Society Looking For High School Annuals

The Chattooga County Historical Society is helping the Chattooga County Public Library build a complete set of all annuals from schools located in Chattooga County.  The yearbooks will be placed in the Georgia Reference Room at the library in Summerville.  The Chattooga County Historical Society says that they have a good start on the collection, but still have missing years.  They need annuals from the 1950’s for Summerville High School and annuals from 1985 and beyond for Chattooga High School.  Also, they need annuals from the 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s and a few of the 1980’s for Trion High School.  If you have annuals that you can donate, you are asked to take them by the Chattooga County Library, located at 360 Farrar Drive in Summerville.  The library is open from 9 AM – 6 PM on Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 9 AM – 8 PM on Thursday, 10 AM -2 PM on Saturday and is closed on Wednesday and Sunday.
