Two people were arrested on drug-related charges following a traffic stop in Chattooga County earlier this month, according to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office.

A Summerville man was arrested in the early morning hours of December 26, 2025, following a traffic stop that led to drug-related charges, according to an arrest report from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office.
A Menlo man was arrested in Rome Tuesday of this week after reports indicated he was found in possession of cocaine at a shopping center near the Yamaha dealership on Martha Berry Highway.
Authorities say Lincoln Derrick Maddux, 24, of Menlo, was taken into custody by the Floyd County Police Department and is charged with possession of cocaine. No additional details were released in the initial report.
A traffic stop on Highway 114 near Sardis Church Road on the evening of December 6th resulted in the arrest of 28-year-old Zachary Paul Edgeworth on multiple drug-related charges, according to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office.
A Summerville man is facing multiple drug charges after police say they located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia during a late-night traffic stop. According to the incident report, the arrest happened on November 15th after authorities issued a lookout for a green Honda Civic linked to an earlier shoplifting incident at the Summerville Walmart.
