Premier Weight Loss & MedSpa Inc. will celebrate its new location in Summerville with a ribbon-cutting ceremony today at 11 AM.

The business is now located at 9943 Commerce Street in Summerville, and the public is invited to attend the celebration marking the opening of the new location.

Premier Weight Loss & MedSpa offers a variety of services, including weight-loss peptides, hormone replacement and testosterone replacement therapy, Botox and fillers, microneedling and IV therapy.

The business is also preparing to add another service beginning September 16.

AdventHealth is inviting the public to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of its new Cancer Pavilion in Rome.

The ceremony will be held Wednesday, July 15, at 4 p.m. at the AdventHealth Cancer Pavilion, located at 641 Braves Boulevard in Rome. Community members, local leaders and healthcare partners are invited to attend as AdventHealth officially opens the facility and marks a new chapter in cancer care for Northwest Georgia.

The new Cancer Pavilion brings a wide range of cancer services together under one roof, allowing patients to receive coordinated care closer to home.

The facility includes a Breast Center offering advanced mammography, bone-density scanning and diagnostic imaging technology. It also features experienced hematology and oncology specialists, a spacious infusion center for cancer treatments, and an on-site laboratory and pharmacy.

The program will include welcome remarks, special recognitions, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a prayer of dedication for patients and members of the care team.

Following the ceremony, guests will be invited to enjoy light refreshments and drinks while taking self-guided tours of the new facility.

Walker County officials will host a grand opening celebration for the new Adventure Acres park on Wednesday, May 20, from 4 PM until 6 PM.

The new park is located at 370 Salem Road in Rossville.

The celebration will include a brief program, ribbon-cutting ceremony, and the official activation of the park’s splash pad. Refreshments and giveaway items will also be available while supplies last.

Adventure Acres was funded primarily through a $2.2 million American Rescue Plan Act grant. The park features a nature-themed playground with more than 60 components, including a multi-lane zip track, swings, climbing boulders, a splash pad, quarter-mile walking trail, open green space, pavilion, restrooms, community Wi-Fi hotspot, and solar-powered charging station.
