Adoration Home Health to Host Open House in Summerville

Adoration Home Health is inviting the community to an open house at its Summerville office on Wednesday, August 12, from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet the home health team, tour the office and enjoy light refreshments during the event. The open house is designed to introduce community members to Adoration Home Health’s local services and staff.

The event will be held at 10891 Commerce Street, Suite A, Summerville, Georgia 30747.

City of Summerville to Celebrate Recreation Improvements with Two Open House Events

The City of Summerville is inviting the public to attend two open house celebrations later this month highlighting recent improvements to the city’s recreational facilities.

The first event will be held Wednesday, July 22, at 11 a.m. at the Summerville Recreation Center, where city officials will celebrate the installation of the facility’s new gymnasium HVAC system.

A second celebration is scheduled for Friday, July 24, at 8:30 p.m. at Dunson Field, where the city will officially unveil the new MUSCO ballfield lighting system during youth baseball and softball games.

Summerville Parks and Recreation Director Adam Wilson said both events are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend as the city marks the completion of these important recreation projects.

GNTC To Host Open Houses At All Six Campuses

Georgia Northwestern Technical College will host Open House events at all six of its campuses next week, giving prospective students and families a chance to learn more about programs, tour facilities, and meet faculty and staff.

The events will be held from 10 AM until noon.

Open Houses are scheduled for Tuesday, June 2nd at the Polk County Campus in Rockmart and the Walker County Campus in Rock Spring. On Wednesday, June 3rd, events will be held at the Gordon County Campus in Calhoun and the Whitfield Murray Campus in Dalton. On Thursday, June 4th, Open Houses will take place at the Catoosa County Campus in Ringgold and the Floyd County Campus in Rome.

Legare Price, associate vice president of Student Success at GNTC, said the events are a great opportunity for potential students and families to explore one of the college’s six campuses and see what GNTC has to offer.

Each two-hour event will include registration, a panel discussion, campus tours with program highlights, a presentation on GNTC’s benefits, and a step-by-step overview of the enrollment process.

Attendees will receive special giveaways and a code to waive the $25 application fee.

Hurley Community Development Center to Celebrate Grand Opening in Summerville

The Chattooga County Chamber of Commerce will host a grand opening and open house for the newly renovated Hurley Community Development Center on Thursday, April 2, from 5 PM to 7 PM. The event will take place at 10050 Commerce Street in downtown Summerville.

The updated facility is designed to serve as a hub for corporate events, training sessions, and private meetings. Chamber officials say the move to this central downtown location will allow them to better support local businesses and provide information to visitors.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held shortly after 5 PM, and the doors will remain open until 7 PM. Refreshments will be provided, and the public is invited to attend and tour the facility.
