Chattooga County residents will soon see changes to their water bills after Chattooga County Sole Commissioner Andy Allen approved a plan to gradually increase rates over the next five years.
City of Summerville water customers may experience low or no water pressure on Friday, March 20, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. as crews work to repair a fire hydrant.
According to city officials, the temporary disruption is necessary to complete the repair work and restore proper service. Customers in several areas are expected to be impacted during this time.
