Police in LaFayette arrested two pedestrians on drug charges – one who had warrants in Chattooga County.

All of the sites, sounds and events at the Chattooga County Agricultural Fair are a huge draw for fair-goers from all over the area, but one of the big draws at the fair are the various livestock shows that are held under the pavilion each day of the fair.
The Chattooga Board of Education will hold the third and final millage rate meeting this evening. The board is one of two taxing authorities in the county and they along with the sole commissioner set millage rates to determine property taxes.
Season tickets and reserved seats for previous season ticket holders for Trion Bulldog football go on sale today and will be available until Friday of this week. This week’s sale is only for patrons who purchased season tickets last year and wish to purchase their seat(s) again for this season. These season tickets can be purchased at the Trion School office. Season passes are $35 each and allow for entry to every regular season home Trion football game. Reserved seats are $85 and include entry into every regular season home game with seating in the reserve section and a “snack pack” when you present your ticket at the concession stand. Regular admission to Trion home games is $8 per person.
Any season tickets not sold this week to previous season ticket holders will go on sale to the public next week.
