Summerville Man Reported Missing Has Been Located

Late last week, a Summerville man was reported missing. David Houston Cabe had been missing for several days when the report was filed with the Summerville Police Department.  Friends and family members were concerned after they hadn’t seen or heard from Cabe, who lives on Highway 48 in Summerville.  According to the report from the police department, which was filed on Friday, Cabe had been missing since Tuesday of last week.  Family members posted on social media that Cabe was located later the same day the report was filed.

Man Arrested After Stealing Flat File From Hardware Store

Earlier this month, a thirty-one-year-old Summerville man was arrested after he was accused of stealing a flat file at Bryant & Sons Lumber Company.  In-store surveillance video showed Todd Lynn Grimsley slipping the file inside his clothing and exiting the store without paying.  Police went to Grimsley’s residence to talk with him about the incident.  According to a report released yesterday, Grimsley returned the file to the store and was charged with shoplifting less than $500.
