Pentecostal Power Ministries Feed The Hungry Program November 22

Pentecostal Power Ministries along with The Bullard family are doing the Feed The Hungry program again this year for families in need and for the homeless.  The event will take place on November 22 at Dowdy Park in Summerville beginning at noon giving out 500 Thanksgiving plates.

Thanksgiving Plates include Turkey, dressing, potatoes, Green Beans, cranberry sauce, a dessert, and a bottle of water.  They will be there until all plates are gone.

Pentecostal Power Ministries Gingerbread House Contest and Christmas Event on November 15th

Pentecostal Power Ministries is hosting a Gingerbread House Contest and Christmas Event on November 15th from 11:00-2:00 @ The Summerville Agricultural (AG) building in Summerville.

All Gingerbread Houses must be fully constructed before entering the contest. Entry fee is $10. 1st place winner will receive a trophy and $50 in cash and other prizes will be awarded too.

They are also looking for Christmas Arts & Crafts vendors. Fee $10. No food vendors, please.

PPM will have food, cakes, pies, and candies available for purchase at the event.  There will also be a free Christmas craft area for kids.

Harvest Worship Center to Host Women’s Conference “IGNITE” – November 14–15

Harvest Worship Center in Trion will host a special Women’s Conference, “IGNITE,” on Friday, November 14, and Saturday, November 15, 2025. This two-day event is designed to offer women a chance to step away from the busyness of life and focus on spiritual renewal, connection, and personal growth.

Doors will open at 6:00 PM on Friday and 9:00 AM on Saturday.

The conference will feature inspiring worship, fellowship, food, and dynamic messages from guest speakers Pastor Sharon Farruggia-Paige, lead pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship Church, and Joy Chambley, founder of Moms with Swords.

Trion & Chattooga FCA To Present “Fields of Faith” October 22nd

Join Chattooga High School FCA and Trion High School FCA for “Fields of Faith” on Wednesday October 22nd at 6:30 pm at Chattooga’s Little Big Horn Stadium.  Fields of Faith is a student-led event.  Michael Lee Stancil will be the guest speaker and music will be led by student FCA leaders.

All churches and youth groups across the county are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
