Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) will host a series of open houses throughout November at all six of its campuses, giving prospective students and their families an opportunity to explore educational programs, tour facilities and meet faculty and staff.

The events will provide information about the college’s academic and technical programs, enrollment procedures and student services. Each open house will last approximately two hours and include campus tours, a panel discussion and an overview of the admissions process.

Legare Price, GNTC’s associate vice president of Student Success, says the events are designed to help prospective students learn about the opportunities available at the college, from choosing a program to completing the enrollment process.

For residents of Chattooga County, several nearby campuses will offer opportunities to attend.

The Floyd County Campus in Rome will host open houses Tuesday, November 10, at 9 AM and 1 PM; Saturday, November 14, at 10 AM; and Thursday, November 19, at 9 AM and 1 PM.

The Walker County Campus in Rock Spring will hold open houses Friday, November 13, and Tuesday, November 17, with sessions beginning at 9 AM and 1 PM on both days.

At the Gordon County Campus in Calhoun, open houses are scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, and Tuesday, November 17, at 9 AM and 1 PM.

Additional open houses are scheduled at the Catoosa County Campus in Ringgold on November 12 and 20; the Polk County Campus in Rockmart on November 13 and 19; and the Whitfield Murray Campus in Dalton on November 12, 14 and 20.

Those attending will receive special giveaways and a code allowing them to waive the college’s $25 application fee.

Prospective students are encouraged to register in advance through the GNTC website at www.gntc.edu, where additional information about the open houses, campus locations and admissions is available.
