City of Summerville Seeks Bids for 2026 Fourth of July Fireworks Show

The City of Summerville is now accepting sealed bids for its 2026 Fourth of July fireworks show, scheduled for July 2, 2026.

According to the Request for Bid, proposals will be received at Summerville City Hall, 120 Georgia Avenue, until 2:00 p.m. on January 23, 2026. Bids must remain valid for 30 business days and must comply with all conditions outlined in the bid document.

City officials say bids will be opened publicly during the City Council meeting at 2:00 p.m. on January 23 in the City Hall Council Room. While bids will be opened that day, no award will be made until designated city officials have had time to fully review each submission.

All proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked “RFB-2026-119-Firework Show” on the outside. Any bids received after the deadline will not be accepted, and the City of Summerville notes it is not responsible for late deliveries caused by mail service or other carriers.

City of Summerville to Honor Mayor Harry Harvey at Jan. 8 Reception

The City of Summerville is inviting the public to a reception recognizing Mayor Harry Harvey for his years of dedicated service to the community.
