Summerville Police have taken a report after a local resident said his company fuel card was used to buy hundreds of gallons of fuel out of state.
Summerville Police are assisting Truist Bank in an investigation after bank officials reported that someone impersonated a local resident and withdrew a large amount of money.
According to an incident report, police received the call on November 26 regarding a theft allegation involving Truist Bank in Summerville. A representative from Truist’s criminal investigations department reported that an individual posed as one of the bank’s clients and withdrew $68,244.40 using a combination of checks and home equity line of credit (HELOC) withdrawals.
The report indicates that police coordinated with an on-call investigator and arranged for available information—including surveillance video—to be forwarded as the investigation continues.
The Summerville Police Department is investigating a report of missing medication after a local woman said her prescription was picked up but never delivered to her. According to the incident report, the call came in on November 13th when an officer was dispatched to CVS in Summerville regarding a possible lost or stolen prescription.

A Summerville man, Aaron Del Alexandre Inmon, 30, was arrested following a physical confrontation in the Walmart parking lot on November 15, according to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office.
Summerville Police say a man came to them for assistance after discovering that the person who purchased his vehicle refused to return his identification documents unless he paid money.
A Summerville man was arrested Saturday night following an incident where a vehicle was damaged by thrown rocks on Martin Street. According to a police report, officers responded to a call at approximately 10:24 PM on March 29, 2025, after Ashley Fowler reported her vehicle had been struck by rocks. Ms. Fowler told police that while driving past 1022 Martin Street, she was confronted by members of the Caldwell family. She alleged that a woman wearing a pink shirt threw a rock that struck and damaged her front windshield. Furthermore, she stated that a shirtless male subject struck and shattered the rear window of her vehicle. Passengers in Ms. Fowler’s vehicle corroborated her account, identifying Jacob Caldwell and Sinclaire Snowden as the individuals responsible for the damage. Police then made contact with Caldwell and Snowden at 1022 Martin Street. Caldwell reportedly denied damaging the vehicle but stated he was willing to take the blame as long as Snowden was not taken into custody. Jacob Caldwell was subsequently arrested and transported to the Chattooga County Jail without incident.
