A 72-year-old woman was arrested in Trion earlier this month following an alleged shoplifting incident at a retail store along U.S. Highway 27, according to an arrest report from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office.
A Lyerly woman arrested in Floyd County last week on meth and shoplifting-related charges is now facing an additional felony charge stemming from a separate incident in West Rome.
