All Things Grace Under Fire Women’s Conference

All Things Grace Under Fire Women’s Conference will be held June 26-27, 2026 at the Chattooga County Civic Center in Summerville.

The conference theme is “There’s a Rumble…” and is centered around faith, encouragement, and spiritual growth for women. The event includes three sessions: Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 10 a.m., and Saturday at 6 p.m.

Organizers are also seeking vendors, sponsors, and ministry partners to participate. Registration and additional information are available through the conference website and QR code featured on the event flyer.

The conference is inspired by the message of 1 Corinthians 14:33, emphasizing God’s peace and faithfulness during life’s challenges.

Mr. Jerry Leon Brown, Obit (C)

Mr. Jerry Leon Brown, age 41 of Trion, Georgia passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 22, 2026 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Jerry was born in Rome, Georgia on April 18, 1985, son of Alvin Eugene Brown, Sr. and Vickie D. Carroll Brown.  He was a member of the Teloga Baptist Church and was employed with the Roper Corporation.  Jerry was the ultimate outdoors guy.  He loved riding 4 wheelers, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, hanging out by a campfire and tinkering with old cars, but his most cherished times were the ones he spent with his girls, Natalie and Constance.

Jerry was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alvin and Cora Brown; step grandfather, Jessie Collier; maternal grandfather, Jerry Carroll; uncles, Gary Carroll and Kenneth Carole, and a nephew, Luke Brown.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Valerie L. Brown; daughters, Natalie Brown and Constance Brown; parents, Alvin Gene and Vickie D. Brown; brother and sister-in-law, JR and Amanda Brown; special nephew, Jace Brown; grandmother, Frances Carroll; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bridget and Jason Johnson; a niece, Georgiana Johnson; nephew, Bryson Johnson; and a number of additional family and friends.

Funeral Services for Jerry will be held Friday, June 26, 2026 at 5:00 P.M. in the chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Weaver officiating.  Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Dover, Ricky Phillips, Chris Patterson, Patrick Strawn, Ricky Leonard and Donnie Stewart.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Jace Brown and members of the Teloga Baptist Church.

Jerry’s family will receive friends at Coffman Funeral Home on Friday afternoon from 3:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
