After being postponed last week due to rain, the 2025 Summerville Christmas Parade is set to roll this evening, Monday, December 8th, bringing holiday cheer back to downtown Summerville.

The theatre, one of the region’s most beloved historic landmarks, will welcome families from Northwest Georgia to enjoy classic holiday favorites at no cost.
The Walker County Historical Society will hold its regular monthly meeting today at 3:00 p.m. at the historic Marsh House. This gathering also serves as the Society’s annual business session, which includes the election of officers for the upcoming year.
