A wet and unsettled weather pattern continues across the region today, bringing periods of showers, embedded thunderstorms, breezy conditions, and the possibility of stronger storms later tonight.
Rain will continue across Chattooga County and Northwest Georgia through this afternoon, with periods of heavy rainfall possible—especially overnight as a system moves through the region. Most areas are expected to pick up about 1 to 2 inches of rain, which could lead to ponding on roads and poor drainage—especially where leaves are clogging storm drains.
