
Rep. Eddie Lumsden (R-Armuchee) released his weekly legislative report. Lumsden says that the Georgia House passed a bill that would expand eligibility for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) that would benefit extremely low-income pregnant women. He says that the bill would help move women and families toward self-sufficiency by providing monthly cash assistance. Also, the House passed a bill that would require glucose monitors to be provided for Medicaid recipients. There were also bills passed that would impact education in the state. You can see Rep.
