Due to the Chattooga County Local State of Emergency, the Renaissance performances scheduled for Saturday, October 10, inside the Summerville Depot have been canceled.

The Chattooga Middle School Indians are celebrating a championship after defeating the Model Blue Devils in Thursday evening’s championship football game.
The victory on October 8 capped an impressive postseason run for the young Indians, who earned their spot in the title game with a dominating 52-8 semifinal victory over Darlington on Saturday, October 3.
Chattooga entered Thursday’s championship matchup with momentum following that 44-point semifinal victory.
Model advanced to the championship after defeating Pepperell in the other semifinal, setting up a showdown between the two Northwest Georgia middle school programs.
The championship victory gives Chattooga Middle School players and coaches a memorable conclusion to their football season and provides another reason for the Chattooga County community to celebrate its young athletes.
The title represents the hard work and dedication of the players, coaches and families who supported the team throughout the season.
