Georgia Northwestern Technical College has announced its President’s List and Dean’s List honorees for the Fall 2025 semester, and Chattooga County students are well represented among those recognized for outstanding academic achievement.

With more than 600 employees across six campuses, GNTC says it’s seeking talented professionals who want more than a job — they want a long-term career serving students, local industries, and communities across Northwest Georgia.
Two Georgia Northwestern Technical College students are being recognized with the first-ever Jerry Jones Memorial Scholarship, created to provide financial support for students enrolled in EMT or Advanced EMT certificate programs.
Nearly 300 students from across Georgia Northwestern Technical College’s nine-county service area will be honored this week during GNTC’s 2025 Fall Commencement Ceremony. Graduation will be held Thursday, December 4th, at the Dalton Convention Center, with the ceremony beginning at 6 p.m.
