JBAR Manufacturing Hiring For Logistics And Customer Service Position

JBAR Manufacturing in Trion is looking to add a new employee to its team, with the family-owned farm equipment company currently accepting applications for a logistics and customer service position.

The position pays $45,000 per year, with working hours of 9 AM until 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

According to the company’s hiring announcement, knowledge of farm equipment is required. The job is primarily a customer service position, with responsibilities that include handling logistics, working with JBAR dealers and assisting with production scheduling.

A drug test is required for the position. JBAR’s announcement also states that insurance and retirement benefits are not offered with the job.

JBAR Manufacturing has been family owned since 1972, marking 53 years in the farm equipment business.

GNTC Fall Admission Deadline Approaching August 4

Students planning to attend Georgia Northwestern Technical College this fall are encouraged to complete their applications soon. The fall admissions deadline is Tuesday, August 4.

GNTC offers more than 200 degree, diploma and certificate programs across six campus locations in Northwest Georgia. Programs include aviation and industrial technologies, business, cybersecurity, health sciences, nursing, and public service careers.

The college also offers hands-on training, financial aid opportunities, and says many programs provide strong job placement opportunities for graduates.

Georgia Northwestern Technical College will waive application fees next week for students planning to enroll for the 2026 fall semester.

GNTC will host a Free Application Week from Monday, June 29, through Sunday, July 5. During that time, the college will waive the regular $25 application fee for all incoming students. Applicants will not need a special code to receive the fee waiver.

The admissions deadline for the fall semester is August 4, and fall classes are scheduled to begin August 17.

City Of Summerville Hiring Gas Maintenance Worker

The City of Summerville is now accepting applications for a Gas Maintenance Worker position.

The job involves assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of gas lines and system components throughout the city. Duties include transporting equipment, locating and repairing gas leaks, conducting inspections, maintaining pipelines and meters, and responding to emergency repair calls, including after-hours situations.

Workers will also be responsible for marking underground utilities, performing pressure tests, maintaining tools and inventory, and completing service reports.
