Subligna Community Center Fundraiser This Saturday

The Subligna Community Center will he hosting their annual pancake breakfast fundraiser this Saturday.  The event raises money for the upkeep of the community center that hosts community events in the Subligna area.  The community center, once the gymnasium for Subligna School, will be the location for the fundraiser on Saturday, October 18th from 8 AM until 10 AM.  Everyone is invited to attend and help support the Subligna Community Center.  The building is located just past Subligna Baptist Church off of Gore-Subligna Road.  If you have questions, call 706-397-2394.

Chattooga County Democrats Meeting October 20

The Chattooga County Democratic Party will meet on Monday, October 20, at 6pm. This is a general business meeting taking place at the Chattooga County Civic Center in Summerville. On the program, Summerville Mayor Harry Harvey will address the group and discuss the upcoming election. Also speaking will be Tom McMahan from the North Georgia Democrats who will describe a new district-wide initiative. Light refreshments will be served.

Round Robin Sports Card Show At Summerville Rec October 18th

The Round Robin Sports Card Show will take place on Saturday, October 18th, at the Summerville Recreation Center. Running from 9 AM to 4 PM, the show will feature a variety of trading cards, including baseball, basketball, and football cards, as well as Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering cards.
