In Chattooga County and across Northwest Georgia, Friday turns noticeably drier and cooler with clear skies returning by sunrise and brisk northwest winds keeping afternoon highs in the upper 40s to low 50s.
Rain chances are set to increase later this morning across Chattooga County and Northwest Georgia, with light to moderate rainfall becoming widespread through the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City, Georgia.
Chattooga County and the rest of Northwest Georgia will see a slow warm-up through midweek, with highs climbing back into the 50s and 60s as southerly flow increases.
