Trion First Baptist Church has announced its Easter week services.
A Maundy Thursday Communion Service will be held April 2 at 7 p.m. Easter Sunday on April 5 begins with a sunrise service at West Hill Cemetery at 7:30 a.m., followed by Sunday School at 10 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m.
The church invites the community to attend.
Subligna Baptist Church will be having a Sunrise Service Easter Morning, April 5th at 7 AM. The pastor, Dr. Charles Bishop and the members invite everyone to attend and hear the message of the risen Savior.

Pleasant Grove Baptist Church , 900 Farmersville Road, Gore Community. Is hosting an Easter Sunrise Service at 7:15 Easter morning. Pastor James Baird and congregation invites everyone to come join us on this special day.
Residents across Chattooga County and Northwest Georgia are waking up to patchy dense fog this morning, with visibility in some areas dropping to as low as half a mile. The fog is expected to linger through about 10 AM, especially in spots that saw rainfall yesterday, before gradually clearing.
The City of Summerville has announced that City Hall and all administrative offices will be closed on Friday, April 3, 2026, in observance of Good Friday.
Officials say emergency services, including police and fire departments, will remain fully operational. Residents are reminded to call 911 in the event of an emergency.
Public Works and Summerville Utilities will be on call for emergency situations, with assistance also coordinated through 911 if needed.
Utility payments can still be made during the closure through the city’s online payment portal or by using the secure drop box located at City Hall.
Regular business hours will resume on Monday, April 6, at 8:00 a.m.
